From October 1 until October 13 I spent two beautiful weeks in medieval town of Apricale in province of Imperia, Italy. Invited by Roberta Agostini, responsible for the Atelier A residency studios and also for the annual exhibition of residents on the Castle, I spent my time wandering in the nearby mountains and drawing in the Atelier A. Studio and housing is in the very center of Apricale and people passing by can drop in anytime, as the door of Atelier stays open all day long. I focused on drawings on paper or canvas, some of them made by natural pigments and dyes made from plants I found on my wanderings. Some of the works are shown in Castello di Apricale exhibition space until the end of February.
